PDFScribe API acceptable use

Last updated: 7 October 2026. These rules protect customer data and shared processing capacity.

Authorized data and integration

Upload only documents you have lawful authority to process and share with the service and its processors. Respect privacy, intellectual property and confidentiality obligations. Do not submit illegal or infringing content, malware, stolen credentials, or data for which the disclosed processing arrangements are unsuitable. Do not impersonate another person or organization.

Protect the service and other tenants

Do not attempt to access another tenant's files, results, credentials or records; bypass permissions, rate limits, credit controls or upload validation; exploit vulnerabilities; or disrupt other customers. Use documented interfaces, scoped API keys and bounded retries. Do not scrape private surfaces or use the service to extract protected implementation details. Heavy authorized usage within purchased credit and published limits is permitted.

Webhook and message safety

Configure destinations you control or have permission to use. Do not use webhooks or notifications for spam, harassment, probing internal networks or delivering data to unauthorized recipients. Verify signed events and handle duplicates safely. Keep secrets out of URLs and logs.

Report concerns

Report suspected abuse or a security issue to [email protected]. Include a safe request or event identifier and a description; do not send tokens, passwords, documents or extracted content. We may suspend or restrict access while investigating misuse and protecting customer data.
